Gridlock Command

Gridlock Command drops the base-building sprawl most mobile strategy games lean on and focuses on one thing: keeping your supply routes alive under pressure. You get a small roster of units and have to make every placement count.

The touch controls took us a session to get comfortable with — selecting groups on a small screen is fiddly at first — but once it clicked, we were leaning into the tension of watching a convoy inch across a contested map. The skirmish mode is where the real replay value lives.

It's demanding and occasionally unfair, but the difficulty feels earned rather than cheap. Strategy fans who want something they can lose in a good way will find plenty here.
