Emberfall Oaths

Emberfall Oaths is the rare mobile RPG that trusts you to read. The writing is genuinely good — companions bicker, remember your choices, and occasionally walk out on you if you push them too far. Combat is turn-based with a stagger system that makes timing your heavy attacks feel great.

We spent most of our time chasing side quests, because they're where the world opens up. One quiet fishing-village arc turned into our favorite thing we played all month. The class system is flexible without drowning you in menus, and respeccing is cheap enough that experimenting never feels punishing.

It's a big game for a phone, so plan for storage space and a warm battery during long sessions. Worth it, though — this is a full RPG, not a watered-down one.
